Dave’s Knead & Feed
Dave is a local bread baker based in Youngstown, Ohio. He prides himself on using fresh ingredients to make a variety of quality loaves for his friends and family.
He commissioned me to create a logo and a packaging identity that he could use for his bread bags.
Research
Dave uses non-GMO, unbleached flour. I included wheat in the final design.
He hand-makes (or “kneads”) all dough, so the logo needed to be hand-drawn.
He uses healthy, organic ingredients, so the logo needed organic elements.

Dave preferred the organic, hand-drawn look for his logo. He thought it better communicated the hand-crafted touch he puts into every loaf.
